OPPO Reno 3 Pro tipped to launch in India first, gradient colour shown in live image

OPPO Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 phones were launched in China back in December and 91mobiles exclusively reported the Pro variant will be heading to India in February with world’s first 44MP dual selfie cameras. Now, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal has claimed that Reno 3 Pro global launch will happen in India. The handset will likely roll out gradually to other markets. The tipster also shared the live-image of the phone, showing off its unique gradient finish and curved edges, which are notable differences from the Chinese variant of the phone that was launched back in December. However, the camera module is cropped out. It’s unclear at the moment if OPPO Reno 3 Pro would retain the same internals or use a different chipset, but it shouldn’t be long before we learn more information.

OPPO Reno 3 Pro specifications

As for the specifications, OPPO Reno 3 Pro flaunts a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a punch-hole cutout at the top to accommodate the selfie camera. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. The handset boots Android 10 with ColorOS 7.0 custom skin on top.

In terms of optics, the Reno 3 Pro has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. A 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging support fuels the handset. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security as well. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.
