“OPPO Reno 3 Pro will feature a 44MP dual punch-hole selfie cameras and quad rear cameras, as per the poster”
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro India launch is just around the corner. A little while ago, 91mobiles reported exclusively that the smartphone would launch in India with a slightly different set of specifications, wherein a dual punch-hole selfie camera setup will be the major change. As a matter of fact, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro India variant will be the world’s first smartphone to sport a 44MP front camera, accompanied by a secondary sensor. Now, we have received a promotional banner for the device from an industry source that confirms our previous report. Not only that, the banner gives us a working clue as to what the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will look like.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro 44MP selfie camera confirmed
As seen in the banner image, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will feature a dual punch-hole cutout that would accommodate a 44MP selfie snapper. The same is confirmed courtesy of the device tagline ‘Clear in Every Shot; 44MP Dual Punch-hole Camera’ written on the poster. We can see the Blue gradient color variant of the device, which was leaked a little while ago. The 44MP selfie camera will be backed by a depth sensor for portrait shots. It should be noted that the 44MP sensor will take over from the 32MP lens as the highest resolution offered for selfie cameras in the market at the moment.
On the back, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will house a quad rear camera setup, which, in all likelihood, is going to consist of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. This setup was seen on the China variant of the smartphone as well.
Other than the front camera and the processor (the device won’t feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset in India), the rest of the specifications of the device will most likely remain the same as the China model of OPPO Reno 3 Pro. We can expect a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of onboard storage, and Android 10 OS out of the box. A 4,025mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging will keep the lights of the device on.
