After the POCO X6 series, the company might be working on a new C-series offering that is aimed at global markets, including India. The C-series phone in question could be the POCO C61. Now, the handset has been spotted in the Google Play Console database. The listing reveals some hardware specifications and also the front design.
POCO C61 appears on the Google Play Console database

- The listing reveals the POCO phone will be powered by the MediaTek MT6765X, which could be associated with the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC.
- The chipset features four Cortex A53 cores at 1.6GHz, four Cortex A53 cores at 2.2GHz, and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
- The POCO C61 boots Android 14 out of the box.

The POCO C61 was earlier spotted on the Google Play supported devices list and bagged Bluetooth SIG certification, which suggested it would be a rebrand of the Redmi A3. However, the design revealed through the Google Play Console listing appears to be different from the Redmi A3 phone, which has a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter.
The India launch of the phone looks to be on the cards as it has already received the BIS certification with the same model number. We should know more details about the POCO C61 in the days to come.
