POCO F3 GT specifications and prices in India have been revealed as the smartphone has been launched in the country.
The POCO F3 GT price in India is Rs 26,999 for the base model, which has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The next configuration has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It costs Rs 28,999. The third and the most expensive variant packs 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It will set you back by Rs 30,999.
The POCO F3 GT will be available at lower prices for the first two weeks. The Week 1 price for the POCO F3 GT is Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999, and Rs 29,999, respectively, until August 2nd. The Week 2 price is Rs 26,499, Rs 28,499, and Rs 30,499 till August 9th. POCO F3 GT pre-order starts from July 24th at 12 noon and the first sale is on July 26th at 12 noon.
Let us start with the most interesting feature of the POCO F3 GT, which as I mentioned earlier, is its magnetic levitation gaming triggers. The maglev triggers pop up from the frame of the smartphone by flicking the slider button located on the right-hand side of the device. These triggers can be used for playing games. The magnetic levitation gaming triggers should offer a better feel and response time compared to the on-screen controls. POCO says that these triggers don't require any special integration into games. Once you are done playing games, you can flick the slider button and the maglev keys will go inside the frame.
Coming to the display, the POCO F3 GT has a 6.67-inch AMOLED unit with full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the screen also has a 480Hz touch-sensing rate, the highest in the industry. According to the brand, the screen has a 500 nits typical brightness and 1300 nits peak brightness. The display also has a centre-mounted punch-hole for the front camera.
Speaking of cameras, the POCO F3 GT has a 64MP primary sensor at the rear. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro unit. The primary camera at the rear can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second. At the front, there's a 16MP camera for video calls and selfies. The front-facing camera can record full-HD videos at 30 frames per second.
Moving on to the processing hardware, the POCO F3 GT packs the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, the flagship chipset from MediaTek. You get the phone is 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. The brand is using LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage modules. As for the OS, the device ships with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5.
The POCO F3 GT has a 5,065mAh battery with 67W charging speed. Connectivity options include support for two SIM cards, dual-SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and an infrared emitter. The phone has stereo speakers, Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the front, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
