Pure EV is a Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler company. They also manufacture lithium-ion batteries. EPluto 7G is the company's most premium offering till now with a top speed of 60KMPH and mileage of approximately 90-120 kms, depending upon various factors on a single charge. It has a portable 60V 2.5kWh battery which can be easily used to charge the scooter's battery from your home as well. The scooter has a rated gradability of 12 degrees, which is typical of any e-vehicle.
The EPluto 7G has borrowed its design from the Vespa and looks similar to the Bajaj Chetak Electric as well. the scooter has a round headlamp, with chrome-finished mirrors. Other features of the scooter include an LCD display of 5 inches, LED Headlamp, Smart Lock with AntiTheft provision. Its Kerb weight is around 76 kg, with a total charging time of up to four hours. It rides on 10-inch alloy wheels, both front and rear suspended by telescopic forks and a mono-shock while speed is controlled by a disc-drum combination. It has a max power of 2,200 W.
The electric vehicle can be purchased at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom), with No Cost EMI options starting from Rs 2,838 / month. Looking at its price, it looks to compete against the likes of the Okinawa Praise and the Ampere Magnus Pro. The EPluto 7G is the flagship electric scooter from PURE EV - an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer based out of Hyderabad. The company originated from the campus of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad where it has set up its research facility. Besides EVs, the brand also produces lithium-ion batteries separately.
