Earlier this year, the Realme GT Neo2 was unveiled, and it ended up making quite a buzz in the market. The GT Neo2 comes as a successor to the GT Neo launched back in March. Now, the company seems to be working on a higher-end GT Neo2, dubbed the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G. The upcoming smartphone from Realme has been doing the rounds of the internet for quite some time now. Now, courtesy of tipster Mukul Sharma, 91mobiles has learned exclusively that the Realme GT 2 Pro will arrive in India in Q1 2022.

Sharma spotted the moniker “Realme GT 2 Pro” in the source code of the brand’s official website. This is not the first time when this smartphone appeared on Realme’s website. Back in October, the GT 2 Pro got listed on the company’s official website. As per Sharma, the GT 2 Pro will be launching in India in the first quarter of 2022.

So yes, as I tipped a little while ago, Realme GT 2 Pro is indeed coming up soon. The moniker has now been confirmed via IMEI listing.

Earlier this month, Sharma spotted the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G on the IMEI database bearing the model number RMX3301. The smartphone also visited the EEC portal before appearing on the IMEI database. The listing confirmed the moniker, suggesting an imminent launch. Later, Sharma told 91mobiles that the company had started internal testing of the GT 2 Pro 5G, and if things go as planned, the launch will be scheduled for Q1 2022. Every sighting and report points towards one thing — that the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G launch is drawing closer every day. However, we don’t have an exact date for now, but we’ll keep you posted.

Apart from being seen on the company’s official website, IMEI database, and EEC portal, the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G was also listed on the AnTuTu benchmark. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared the screenshot of Realme RMX3300/ Realme GT 2 Pro 5G benchmark scores. The Realme RMX3300 scored an astonishing score of 1,025,215 on AnTuTu, which is the highest we have seen on a smartphone so far.

Realme GT 2 Pro 5G specifications (expected)

Last week, a tipster with the username WHYLAB tipped the Realme GT 2 Pro 5G specifications on Weibo. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.51-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top, pixel density of 404ppi, in-display fingerprint sensor, and high refresh rate. We don’t know much about the internals, but it could come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/ Snapdragon 898 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.

The Realme GT 2 Pro 5G might feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 108MP main sensor in the optics department. The other two cameras are expected to be an 8MP sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle and a 5MP sensor. Further, there could be a 32MP camera on the front. Rumours have also indicated 125W charging support on the Realme GT 2 Pro.

Realme GT 2 Pro price (expected)

The Realme GT 2 Pro is rumoured to be starting at RMB 4,000 (around Rs 46,000). The company is also said to be working on a special edition of the phone, which could be priced at RMB 5,000 (about Rs 58,000).
