Realme GT 5 is the latest premium offering from the brand that debuted recently in China.  The handset is equipped with the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 24GB RAM and a whopping 240W fast charging support. The main highlight of the phone is the transparent RGB design with four halo light strips. The brand hasn't officially spoken about the India availability of the phone but it's expected to launch in the country.

• As said, the Realme GT 5's main highlight is its design.
• The handset features a "Flowing Silver Mirror" design. This is said to offer a liquid metal silver texture design.
• There is also the ‘Snapdragon 8 Gen 2' square logo inside the transparent glass panel on the back.
• The Realme GT 5 features a transparent RGB design with 4 halo light strips. The company is calling this Halo Pro and it supports ten contact and application notification light effects.

• The Realme GT 5 price starts at RMB 2999 (around Rs 34,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model, RMB 3,299 (approx Rs 37,400) for the 16GB + 512GB version, and RMB 3,799 (around Rs 43,600) for the 24GB + 1TB model with 240W fast charging.
• OnePlus Ace 2 Pro starts at RMB 2,999 (Rs 34,500 approx) for the 12GB + 256GB model, RMB 3,399 (Rs 38,600) for the 16GB + 512GB variant, and RMB 3,999 (Rs 46,000 approx) for the top-end 24GB and 1TB version.

Key takeaways

The Realme GT 5 is a premium offering thanks to hardware like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 240W fast charging support, 24GB RAM option, and a 144Hz AMOLED display. On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is no less as it gets the same chipset, 24GB RAM, 150W fast charging and a 50MP camera.
