Realme GT 5 has been officially launched in China as a follow-up to the Realme GT 3. The smartphone is the first from the brand and only the third in the world to offer up to 24GB RAM, after the Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro+ and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The Realme GT 5 comes in two variants: one with 150W fast changing and the other with 240W.

Realme GT 5 price

The Realme GT 5 price starts at RMB 2999 (around Rs 34,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model and RMB 3,299 (approx Rs 37,400) for the 16GB + 512GB version.
The 24GB + 1TB model with 240W fast charging costs RMB 3,799 (around Rs 43,600).
The sale of the phone will start on September 4th in China.
The Realme GT 5 comes in a Flowing silver illusion mirror (silver) and Starry Oasis (green) colour options.

Realme GT 5 design

The handset features a “Flowing Silver Mirror” design, which offers a liquid metal silver texture design and we see a ‘Snapdragon’ square logo inside the transparent glass. There is also a transparent RGB design with 4 halo light strips. Realme is calling this Halo Pro. This supports ten contact and application notification light effects.

Realme GT 5 specifications

Display: The Realme GT 5 sports a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED PRO-XDR display with 144Hz refresh rate, 2772 X 1240 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout, 93.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, 450ppi, up to 1400nits peak brightness, 1.46mm narrow bezels, 2160 PWM dimming, and X7 independent display chip.
Processor: The Realme flagship is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
RAM and storage: The chipset is paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
OS: The Realme phone runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 custom skin out of the box.
Rear cameras: The Realme GT 5 packs triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter.
Front camera: 16MP shooter for selfies and video chats.
Battery: The Realme GT 5 comes in two models: one with a 4,600mAh battery and 240W fast charging and another with a 5,240mAh battery and 150W fast charging.
Others: The handset packs an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos, and Whirlwind memory engine 2.0 that is claimed to keep up to 76 apps in the background.
