We see its metallic silver colour, two massive camera rings and a translucent panel right next to them flaunting an LED light similar to the one we saw on the Realme GT Neo 3. One of those camera rings has two sensors inside, so the total number of cameras on the back is three. We can also see the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 logo peeking through the adjacent panel.

The company has also confirmed the Realme GT 5 battery and up to 240W GaN charging support. So, here’s everything we know and expect:

Realme GT 5 specifications (expected)

  • Display: Realme GT 5 could ship with a 6.74-inch screen that’s OLED in nature, has a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2160 PWM dimming for flicker control, and an embedded fingerprint reader. The company has also teased an independent X7 display chip that is there to enhance the frame rates in videos.
  • Cameras: On the front, there could be a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls. On the other side, there could be a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera (with OIS), an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP macro module.
  • Processor: As the GT 5 renders show, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip coupled with Adreno 740 graphics. Realme could offer Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 on top.
  • Memory: The performance will be bolstered by up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of internal storage (UFS 4.0).
  • Battery and charging: There could be two variants of the phone. One with a 4,600mAh battery and 240W fast charging ability (2 hours talk time out of 30 seconds of top-up) and another one with a bigger 5,240mAh cell and 150W fast charging facility.
  • For ensuring battery safety and efficiency, Realme has equipped the device with a dedicated power management chip called SuperVOOC S. Lastly, the charging port on the handset will be USB Type-C.
