When it launches in India, Realme X50m will be among the few smartphones running the 7nm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It might even become the first model in India with this chipset seeing that no other smartphone offers it at the moment in the country. Moreover, going by the China price, the Realme X50m price in India may be around Rs 25,000, a segment that is presently vacant in the company’s India portfolio. It will also give the company a mid-range model with 120Hz display, a feature it still doesn’t offer.

To recall, Realme X50m has already been launched in China, with sales starting late last month. The Realme X50m prices are RMB 1,999 (about Rs 21,500) and RMB 2,299 (roughly Rs 25,000) for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants, respectively.
As for the specifications, Realme X50m offers a 6.57-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) punch-hole display with 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset clocked at 2.4GHz. As mentioned above, the smartphone comes with 128GB storage as standard and 6GB and 8GB RAM options; there’s no microSD support to expand the storage. The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Android 10-based Realme UI custom skin. There’s also 5G support, which is quickly becoming an important feature in several foreign markets.
The Realme X50m camera specifications include a quad-camera setup with 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro unit on the back. In the front is a dual-camera setup with a 16MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth-sensing unit. On the battery front, the mid-range smartphone gets a 4,200mAh cell and 30W wired fast-charging support. Connectivity features, apart from 5G, include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-SIM support, and USB Type-C. It weighs 194 grams, measures 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9mm in size, and comes in Starry Blue and Galaxy White colour options.
