Redmi 9 Activ will go on sale in India from Friday, September 24th through Amazon and the website has revealed the complete specifications as well.
Redmi 9 Activ price in India will be revealed when the phone goes on sale in the country tomorrow. It will be available in two models: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage and comes in Metallic Purple, Carbon Black and Coral Green.
The Redmi 9 Activ sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and there's support for HyperEngine support. The phone comes in two models: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. The phone is P2i coated for splash resistance, TUV Rheinland certification for Reading Mode, and Corrosion Proof port.
Moving to optics, the Redmi 9 Activ features dual cameras on the back, with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and a 2MP secondary lens. There is a 5MP selfie snapper on the front and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
