Redmi K30 will be launching in China on December 10th, and it will be arriving in both 5G and 4G version. Separately, the company is also actively working on the Redmi K30 Pro model, which should be coming in 2020 though its possible Redmi might tease it tomorrow. Now, noted tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore claims the Redmi K30 Pro will launch in March 2020 in China, and it will ship with the latest Snapdragon 865 processor with X55 5G support. It’s already confirmed the standard Redmi K30 5G will be powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 765G SoC with an integrated Snapdragon X52 5G modem. It will support SA/NSA 5G dual-modes and fifth-generation Qualcomm AIE artificial intelligence engine.

Redmi K30 is confirmed to sport a 6.67-inch full HD+ display and will have a 4.38 mm punch-hole cutout to accommodate dual selfie snappers. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and is likely to run on Android 10 with MIUI 11 custom skin on top. The handset is expected to arrive with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, the Redmi K30 will have a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and likely to be aided by a 13MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
Redmi K30 will also pack a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. On the front, it could have a 32MP sensor and a ToF sensor for 3D face recognition. While the 5G version of Redmi K30 will get a Snapdragon 765 SoC, the Redmi K30 4G model that is also expected to come to India will likely get a Snapdragon 730G SoC. As for the pricing, the Redmi K30 4G model is expected to cost RMB 2,000 (around Rs 20,400), while the 5G variant might start at RMB 2,500 (around Rs 25,400) in China.
Not much is known about the Redmi K30 Pro as of now, but Xiaomi may reveal some details during the launch of the Redmi K30 in China on December 10th.
