Redmi Note 13 alternatives in India: Vivo T2, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, iQOO Z7 and more

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 13 series today in India. There are three phones in the series including the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The new Redmi phones offer 120Hz AMOLED displays, up to 120W fast charging support, 200MP primary camera and more.

All three phones differ in some areas with the Redmi Note 13 being the most affordable in the series. But the phone continues to bring some long-forgotten features such as a 3.5mm headphone jack and the IR blaster. It also offers a decent set of specifications for its price point.

Since the Redmi Note 13 is priced in a competitive segment, we take a look at its possible alternatives. We’ve rounded up a list of potential rivals based on the price of the Redmi Note 13, and the list includes Vivo T2 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, iQOO Z7 5G, Moto G84 5G and Realme Narzo 60

Let’s take a look at how these phones stack up against the Redmi Note 13.

Vivo T2 5G6GB + 128GBRs 18,999
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G8GB + 128GBRs 19,999
iQOO Z7 5G6GB + 128GBRs 18,999

Redmi Note 13 specifications

  • Redmi Note 13 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
  • It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
  • The smartphone houses a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP front camera.
  • It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
  • On the software front, the Redmi Note 13 runs Android 13-based MIUI 14.

Vivo T2 5G specifications

Vivo-T2
  • Vivo T2 has a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
  • It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
  • On the software front, the Redmi Note 13 runs Android 13-based Funtouch OS.
  • The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
  • It comes with a dual-camera setup featuring a 64MP primary sensor with OIS and EIS, and a 2MP bokeh lens. For selfies you get a 16MP front camera.
Vivo T2 5G is a close competitor to the Redmi Note 13 with the same starting price for the base models. It however falls short in some areas like the maximum display refresh rate, and cameras. You do get faster charging with the Vivo T2 5G though.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G specifications

OnePlus Nord-CE-3-Lite
  • OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G features a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display.
  • Under the hood of the phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC.
  • The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
  • It has triple rear cameras including a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP camera for selfies.
  • OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
  • The smartphone runs Android 13-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G probably gives the toughest competition to the Redmi Note 13. It comes with the same, and even better specs if we compare on paper. But the OnePlus alternative is priced higher than the Redmi Note 13 so that might be a deal breaker when deciding between the two.

iQOO Z7 5G specifications

  • With the iQOO Z7 5G you get a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
  • The smartphone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
  • In the photography department, you get a 64MP primary camera with OIS, a 2MP secondary camera, and a 16MP front camera.
  • It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
  • On the software front, the iQOO Z7 5G runs Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13.

The iQOO Z7 5G also starts at Rs 18,999 like the Redmi Note 13. But if we do a detailed comparison, you would be getting more with the Redmi Note 13. This includes a 120Hz display, bigger storage, better cameras and a bigger battery as well.

Moto G84 5G specifications

  • Moto G84 5G is one of the newer entrants in the list with a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
  • The smartphone houses a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens that doubles up as macro and depth sensors. For selfies you get a 16MP front camera.
  • On the software front, the Moto G84 5G runs Android 13 with My UX layered on top. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

Moto G84 5G is also pretty close to the Redmi Note 13 in terms of specs and features. It boasts 12GB of RAM, a 120Hz pOLED display, and a near-stock Android UI. But just like the OnePlus alternative, this one too is priced higher than the Redmi Note 13.

Realme Narzo 60 specifications

  • Realme Narzo 60 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
  • Under the hood of the phone runs the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
  • It has only one 64MP rear camera, and a 16MP front camera for selfies.
  • The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
  • On the software front, it runs realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

Realme Narzo 60 is priced the cheapest in this list. But there are some things to consider such as a single rear camera, 90Hz display, and 33W fast charging support. In comparison, the alternatives have more to offer although priced higher.
