Redmi Note 9 Pro has a brand new variant that offers 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. This new variant was announced by Xiaomi on Monday as part of the five big announcements for Redmi. The company on Monday also announced the first sale date for the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage, which is scheduled for Wednesday. The new Redmi Note 9 Pro 4GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs 15,999. This was notably the original price of the 6GB + 128GB variant, which was later revised to Rs 16,999 following the GST rate hike. Meanwhile, the 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 13,999. All three variants of the Redmi Note 9 will go on sale in India Today via Mi.com and Amazon.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole display. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM. The handset houses a 5,020mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The Redmi Note 9 Pro features a quad camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone comes with a side fingerprint sensor and connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, VoWiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.
