Samsung’s hugely popular A series of smartphones will get a new entry-level model by early 2022. The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G has been in the news for the past few weeks now. In September, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G could be Samsung’s cheapest 5G phone yet. The device will be a new addition to the company’s existing lineup of budget 5G phones. Now, we have our first look at the upcoming low-cost 5G Samsung phone. Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer has partnered with Zouton to showcase some Samsung Galaxy A13 5G renders, which reveal a waterdrop display, triple rear cameras, and more. We also learn a few key specs and the possible pricing of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy A13 5G design and specs
As you can see from the renders, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a waterdrop Infinity-V display with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone gets a plastic frame and rear panel. The rear panel houses a triple camera system vertically stacked. The camera setup includes a wide-angle lens.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be starting with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will run Android 11 out of the box with the Android 12 update to come via OTA in few months. The device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, meaning it can handle all day-to-day tasks easily.
The device will carry a 5000mah battery with charging support of 25W, through USB Type C 2.0. The phone will be relatively slim with 8.9mm thickness and 10mm thickness including raised camera lens. The phone will have a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary main camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. There will be a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, with a plastic frame all around.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is expected to be launched by early 2022 with a starting price of $290(21,000-22,000 Rs) in the USA and Canada regions. We can expect a cheaper price for Indian prospective buyers. We will know about its availability in India in the coming months.
