The passenger's phone overheated and started the fire after the flight from New Orleans landed.
"After much digging, I can tell you that the phone was burned beyond recognition. However, during an interview with one of our Port of Seattle Police officers, the passenger volunteered the phone was a Samsung Galaxy A21. Again, we could not confirm it by looking at the remains of the device," Cooper said. The Port of Seattle said that a total of 128 passengers and six crew members were transported by bus to the terminal. Fortunately, there weren't any serious injuries associated with the fire, the port said.
Samsung spokesperson said the company is aware of the situation and is "currently conducting a thorough investigation." Alaska Airlines hasn't responded yet. This isn't the first Samsung phone that caught fire as the whole incident is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 7 five years ago.

Samsung Galaxy A21 rocks quad rear cameras on the back, with a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 13MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
