“Samsung Galaxy A30s production has already started in India, according to a company insider, so we can expect it to launch soon”
Samsung Galaxy A30s smartphone will debut with triple rear cameras and Infinity-V display, a company insider has informed 91mobiles. The handset is expected to be an iterative upgrade to Samsung’s previously launched Galaxy A30 model, which packs dual rear cameras and Infinity-U display. While there won’t be much difference in the display, the additional sensor will help boost the camera performance of Samsung Galaxy A30s. In addition to this, the source added that the Galaxy A30s production has started in India, which means Samsung could launch it soon. The handset is among the upcoming smartphones Samsung has in the pipeline and was leaked via Geekbench listing earlier this month.
The Geekbench database reveals that the Galaxy A30s could come with the model number SM-A307FN. The handset may pack an octa-core chipset of unknown maker clocked at 1.59GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. Software-wise, it could come running Android 9 Pie-based Samsung’s OneUI out of the box.
While camera sensor, battery, and other details of the Samsung Galaxy A30s have not been revealed yet, we expect them to be slightly better than the regular A30 model. The latter, if you may recall, was launched with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that bears Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection up top. At its core lies Exynos 7904 octa-core SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB user expandable storage.
In the camera department, the phone sports a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear, while on the front it has a 16-megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. A 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support fuels the Galaxy A30, while Android 9 Pie-based One UI takes care of the software side of things. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear panel of the handset.
