Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G flagships were announced at the Unpacked event on Wednesday. The phones come with a centre-positioned punch-hole design, rectangular camera module at the back and Snapdragon 865+ SoC/Exynos 990 SoC depending on the region. The Note 20 Ultra 5G is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, 120Hz Quad HD+ display and triple camera with 108MP primary sensor. The Galaxy Note 20 line-up ships with S Pen support that is said to be improved with reduced response time and more realistic writing style. Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra 5G prices in India, pre-booking offers

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra phones are up for pre-booking across Samsung.com and across leading retail stores. While the standard model is priced at Rs 77,999, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G sets you back by Rs 104,999 in the country. Customers pre-booking Galaxy Note 20 will be eligible for benefits worth Rs 7,000 and those pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G can avail benefits worth Rs 10,000. These benefits include Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watches, Galaxy Tabs, among others.

Furthermore, HDFC Bank Credit and Debit cardholders are eligible for up to Rs 9,000 cashback. Existing Galaxy users are eligible for an upgrade offer that brings an additional discount of Rs 5,000. These benefits help bring effective prices down quite a bit.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 specifications

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch Infinity-O Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Exynos 990 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB storage options. The 4G only model will have 8GB RAM and 256GB and 512GB onboard storage. The internal storage is further expandable via microSD card. The phone boots Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.0 custom skin. It packs a triple camera setup at the back with a 108MP primary dual-pixel autofocus sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP periscope sensor for 3x optical zoom and 50x Space Zoom, and a laser-based autofocus system for fast focusing. 

There is a 10MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports up to 25W fast wired charging, Fast wireless charging 2.0, and reverse wireless charging. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, dual GPS support, Wireless DeX, AKG-optimised stereo speakers, and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

The standard Samsung Galaxy Note20 sports a smaller 6.7-inch display with standard full HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the same Exynos 990 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, while the 4G only model comes with just 256GB storage and no 128GB option. A 4,300mAh battery fuels the phone and connectivity options include 5G, Dual SIM + eSIM, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C (Gen 3.2), NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Wireless DeX. The triple rear camera setup includes a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto sensor for 3x optical zoom and 30x Space Zoom. Upfront, there is a 10MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
