The Samsung Galaxy S10 launch is now less than a month away, with the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for 11am PST on February 20th (12:30am IST on February 21st). While we already seem to know pretty much everything about the Galaxy S10 lineup of devices, there are teasers and leaks galore regarding the purported devices. The latest one comes from a teaser video for Samsung's upcoming product launch, which appears to hint at the lineup's battery capacities.
Hinted at by a rapidly filling, large battery animation placed within the video, speculations around the internet suggest that the Galaxy S10 lineup will get either larger battery packs in comparison to the competition, or a new, faster charging standard on its devices, or maybe even a combination of both. It does not allude to one model in particular or reveal any other detail, apart from presenting a showreel that highlights some of the key innovations that Samsung has presented in its smartphones — quad cameras, waterproofing, dual-curved, no bezel display and the multi-functioning S-pen.

A separate report, meanwhile, has further quoted code found within Samsung's contactless payment app, Samsung Pay, to suggest that at least one of the Galaxy S10 flagship smartphones will get the in-display fingerprint scanner. The code snippet in question directs the Samsung Pay interface to scan for an in-display fingerprint reader, and accordingly rearrange the UI to provide ample space for users to authenticate payments via their fingerprints, thereby affirming that the feature is indeed a part of the upcoming flagship lineup. The feature is likeliest to be included in the Galaxy S10+, which is going to lead the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup in 2019.
Samsung is also expected to unveil its foldable smartphone, dubbed to be the Samsung Galaxy Fold, at the event, along with a 5G-compliant variant of the Galaxy S10+. The company has already presented a closed preview of its foldable smartphone to partners, and may be hosting its first, full commercial unveil, before it eventually goes up for sale later this year.
