Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra spotted on BIS
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with the model number SM-S928B/DS has been certified on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This model number is associated with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the certification confirms its India launch. It also hints at an imminent launch, which is in line with the rumoured debut timeline for the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the top-end model in the series. It was recently confirmed to come with S Pen support according to the Bluetooth SIG website listing. In terms of design, minor changes are expected for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. But there’s one version tipped with a golden middle frame. The black bezel on the phone is also tipped to be “symmetrical” with the punch-hole now smaller and moved down a little.

Based on recent leaks, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It could house a 200MP 1/1.3-inch primary camera sensor with 100x zoom support, a 12MP Sony IMX564 ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP Sony IMX754+ telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom.
It will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This time Samsung is rumoured to launch only Snapdragon models for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. We could also see a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
