According to the listing, this upcoming mid-range tablet is expected to rock a full-HD display with 1,920 X 1,200 pixels resolution and an 8.4-inch screen. It is said to be powered by the Exynos 7904 SoC paired with just 3GB RAM, but we suspect there could be other variants as well. Surprisingly, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is listed with Android 9.0 Pie rather than Android 10. However, the final product will likely ship with Android 10-based One UI 2.0.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is expected to be a budget tablet that will succeed the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 from last year. The slight increase in display size suggests Samsung could reduce the bezels on the upcoming tablet to offer more screen real estate. Unfortunately, details regarding its exact design, cameras and battery are still under wraps.
