According to Yogesh, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will have a triple-camera setup at the rear and all three will use a 12MP sensor, just like the current Galaxy Z Fold2. While he did not reveal the exact purpose of the three cameras, we assume it is a combination of main, ultrawide, and telephoto. What about the selfie cameras though? Well, according to Yogesh, the main display (foldable screen) of the Galaxy Z Fold3 will have a 16MP under-display camera, whereas, the outer display will feature a 10MP sensor.

Coming to the processing power, our source believes that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. People were expecting the smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 888+ SoC that was announced a couple of days ago. However, it looks like Samsung won’t be able to change the chipset this late in the development stage. As for the storage, Yogesh says that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be available with up to 512GB option. So, no upgrade in the storage department either.

Earlier rumours have suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold3 could be unveiled globally on August 3rd. However, that might not be the case. According to our source, the Galaxy Z Fold3 launch will take place in the second week of August. Yogesh also reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will go on sale in the US and UK sometime late in August. What about the Galaxy Z Fold3 India launch date though? Well, the tipster says that the foldable phone will be released in India in September. Hopefully, we will know more about the device as its launch nears.
