Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip India sale date (expected)

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will go on sale in India from August 14th onwards, according to a report by 91mobiles Hindi. Pre-bookings for the foldables will begin on July 26th, the report added. This information reportedly comes from a leading retailer of Samsung, and considering the launch timeline, the expected dates seem accurate.

Meanwhile, Samsung has started taking pre-reservations for its upcoming devices. You can purchase a refundable pre-reserve pass for Rs 1,999. There’s also a Rs 5,000 e-voucher up for grabs that you can get use to buy products from Samsung’s online store.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 specs (Expected)

Display: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to feature a 7.6-inch 120Hz internal display, and a 6.2-inch 120Hz outer display. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 could feature a 3.4-inch cover display, and a 6.7-inch 120Hz interior display.
Processor: Both the foldables are said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
RAM and storage: Samsung is expected to launch the foldables with up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Cameras: On the Galaxy Z Fold 5 you could get a triple camera setup of 108MP + 12MP + 10MP. For selfies, the foldable is expected to house a 10MP front camera. As for the Galaxy Z Flip 5, there isn’t much known but it could be dual 12MP rear cameras.
Software: On the software front, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will most likely run Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 out-of-the-box.
