• The renders show the earbuds will be lightweight and have a slightly angled design for better ear placement.
• There appears to be a large touch area for controls like play/pausing music, changing track, taking calls and much more. 
• The renders make it pretty evident that the design will be light on the ears and Sony appears to have let go of some heft by changing the ear tip design.
• The upcoming Sony earbuds will be more lightweight at just 5.9 grams. In comparison, the XM4 weighed 7.3 grams.
• The XM5 charging case more or less has the same design with an LED indicator.

• Furthermore, the Sony WF-1000XM5 will have a total listening time of 24 hours, which again is the same as the previous generation.
• The TWS earbuds will have fast charging support, where a 3-minute charge will offer 1 hour of use. In comparison, the XM4 achieved the same feat with 5 minutes of charging. 
• The charging case will charge over USB Type-C and Qi wireless charging.
• The new TWS earbuds will have improved voice pickup and have multi-point connectivity out of the box.
