Tata Nexon EV is a solid rival to MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona.
The Tata Nexon EV has received a Rs 25,000 increase in the retail price, restructuring the entire Tata Nexon EV portfolio. The original price started at Rs 14.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and went up to Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end variant. Now, Tata Nexon EV starts at Rs 14.54 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 17.15 lakh for the top-end variant. At this price point, the EV competes with the likes of MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona, and Tata's own Tigor EV. Here are the new prices:

Tata Nexon EV is a 129PS electric motor car with 245 Nm tourque. The EV is claimed to go from 0 to 100kmph in 9.14 seconds. The 30.2 kWh battery pack promises a 312km range on a single charge. The battery takes about 8.5 hours to go up to 90 percent when charged via household circuits. The same charges up to 80 percent in an hour when charged via DC fast charging option.
With the hike in the EV price, it is due for an upgrade. We expect an upgrade in the battery pack, motor, and range areas.
