The list of the top 10 Android phones on Antutu has been updated for the month of May 2023, giving us the latest lowdown in terms of the best-performing Android smartphones in the market according to the benchmarking service. Like every month, the list showcases devices based on tests conducted on the platform, although certain changes in the list do appear to be rather drastic.
For May 2023, the ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, which was the top-performing smartphone for the month of April, has dropped off the list entirely. While this leaves Nubia at the top with its Red Magic 8 Pro+, Lenovo makes a surprise entry into this list with the Legion Y70 smartphone — yet another purely gaming-centric smartphone. The rest of the lineup remains entirely unchanged. On this note, here's looking at the top 10 Android phones on Antutu for the month of May 2023.

Nubia's Red Magic 8 Pro+ returns to lead the top 10 Android phones list in May, after losing out to the ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate in April. The gaming smartphone is an absolute beast in terms of its overall performance, offering all the latest chops that you could ask for from a smartphone — including plenty of RGB LEDs, pressure pads on shoulders, and more. It even comes with a ventilating fan to the rear, and has remained consistently at the top end of this list since being launched in December last year.

The vanilla variant of the Xiaomi 13 is not available in India yet, leaving the Pro variant to be the only one in its series that sells here right now. Last month, the Xiaomi 13 ranked fourth in the top 10 Android phones list on Antutu, but a month later, it has seemingly outperformed even its own ‘Pro' variant to rank as the second best-performing smartphone in the Android ecosystem right now.
