Vivo iQOO Pro 5G launch has been set for the next month, the company has revealed officially. In June, the Chinese brand had announced to release a 5G variant of the earlier launched Vivo iQOO gaming phone in the third quarter of this year, and now it has revealed the launch month. Notably, a poster revealed by the phone maker has also debunked the rumours that its 5G offering will be called Vivo iQOO Plus 5G. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed it, the iQOO Pro 5G is expected to come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, which was unveiled recently.
The Vivo iQOO Pro 5G will essentially be a variant of the Vivo iQOO with support for next-gen high-speed networks. The original offering from the brand had arrived with the Snapdragon 855 processor, while the 5G model will have the new chipset. Thanks to the new processor, the handset is expected to offer four percent performance enhancement as well as 15 percent more graphics processing power. We can also expect the device’s SoC to offer clock speed of 2.96GHz. While it’s not confirmed, the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G is speculated to feature a triple camera setup at the rear.
According to earlier reports, one of the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G variants will feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone is expected to be fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery, which will support 44W fast charging support. No other details about the smartphone are available at the moment. As for the pricing, the iQOO Pro 5G is said to be available at the starting price equivalent of Rs 45,000.
As for the Vivo iQOO, the smartphone is available in the Chinese market at the starting price of around Rs 31,500, which goes up to 45,000 for the most high-end model. There’s no word regarding the global launch at the moment.
