iQOO 3 is set to launch in China and India on February 25th. Ahead of its launch, the iQOO 3 specifications have appeared on Geekbench. The smartphone will come with 12GB RAM and Android 10 out of the box, according to the listing. iQOO 3 managed to score 899 in single-core and 3,229 in the multi-core test on Geekbench. iQOO’s general manager, Zeng Kunpeng had confirmed the phone would feature UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The former achieves higher write performance compared to UFS 3.0 while the latter reduces power consumption.
iQOO 3 specifications
The iQOO 3 is tipped to rock a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal storage that may not be expandable. However, there will be other models as well. It is likely to boot Android 10 OS with FunTouch OS skin on top.
In terms of optics, the iQOO 3 is rumoured to come with a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 48MP/64MP primary sensor, dual 13MP lenses and a 2MP unit. It could have a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Lastly, a 4,370mAh battery (4,410mAh typical) with 55W fast-charging support fuels the handset. Vivo iQOO 3 is said to measure 158.51 x 74.88 x 9.16mm and weigh in at 214.5 grams. Design-wise, the handset will have a punch-hole cutout as revealed by the recently leaked live-images.
