Vivo Pad 3's specifications could include the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset with up to 16GB RAM.
Vivo Pad 3 was listed as model number PA2473 on Geekbench. The listing revealed that the upcoming tablet features a processor with clock speeds of up to 3.25GHz. The device scored 2,223 points in the single-core test and 7,547 in the multi-core one. We expect this processor to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9300. The flagship chipset was unveiled by MediaTek last year to go against the likes of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Other specifications confirmed through the listing include a 16GB RAM module. The tablet's predecessor, the Vivo Pad 2, maxed out at 12GB RAM and featured a Dimensity 9000 processor. The brand seems to be focusing on improving the performance of the tablet considerably this time. The Vivo Pad 3 is expected to feature an LCD panel.
Based on previous leaks, the Vivo Pad 3 was rumoured to feature an upcoming Snapdragon processor codenamed SM8635 otherwise called Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The tablet could be accompanied by a Pro model with 80W charging, but the Geekbench listing has certainly created some confusion regarding which processor it will feature.
It won't be surprising if Vivo is planning for an iQOO tablet with the upcoming Snapdragon processor rather than a Vivo Pad 3 Pro. That would explain the discrepancy in specifications. To recall, Vivo has limited its tablet lineup to the Chinese market. We don't expect these devices to make their way to India anytime soon.
