Vivo U20 will get a new RAM variant in India soon. 91mobiles has learnt from its retail sources that the Vivo U20 8GB RAM variant will launch in India on December 12th. The 8GB RAM option will be paired with 128GB of internal storage and will be available via offline retail stores across India. This is in line with a previous 91mobiles report where we learnt that the Vivo U20 would be available in offline stores across the country by December 12th as the company aims to appease brick-and-mortar retailers. To recall, Vivo launched the U20 in India with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants along with 64GB of internal storage and the smartphone has been available via online channels only.

Vivo U20 8GB RAM price in India

Vivo U20 8GB RAM variant price in India is said to be Rs 18,990. The 6GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants are priced at Rs 11,990 and 10,990 respectively. U20 comes in Racing Black and Blaze Blue colour options.

Vivo U20 specifications

Vivo U20 8GB RAM variant will get the same specifications as the 4GB/ 6GB RAM options. The handset ships with Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 out of the box. It sports a 6.51-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution and a Halo notch up top for the selfie camera. Vivo U20 is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with a beefy 5,000mAh battery, which is backed by Vivo’s 18W fast charging support.

Vivo U20 camera specs include a 16MP Sony IMX499 primary sensor, an 8MP Super wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens at the back. The phone’s front camera, on the other hand, will sport a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The cameras are backed by AI, AR Stickers, Super Wide Angle video mode, Time Lapse, Slo-Mo, 4K Video Recording, HDR, Live Photo, Group Selfie, and more.

Lastly, there will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and standard connectivity options such as Dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes with a triple card slot to support two nano SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card.
