To recall, the Redmi Note 8 series was launched last year with a starting price of Rs 9,999 and has since received five price hikes. It remains to be seen if the brand will be increasing the price of the 6GB RAM variant again or it will be maintained at its current level.

Redmi Note 8 packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ LCD display with a dot notch design and is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. In terms of optics, the handset comes with a rear-facing quad camera setup with 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP layout. There is a 12MP front camera on the Redmi Note 8 for clicking selfies and video calls. A 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging fuels the handset. For charging and data transfer, the phone ships with a USB type-C port.
