Vivo is bringing the highly-anticipated Vivo V29 series to India today. These phones come as a successor to the Vivo V27 series which was launched back in March of this year in the country. The Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro are however not the first V29 series devices to launch here as the Vivo V29e was unveiled in August as the budget offering in the lineup.
Vivo V29 series launch event: time, live stream link
The brand will launch the Vivo V29 series in India today at a live event which will start at 12 noon. Vivo’s brand ambassador, Virat Kohli, is expected to make an appearance too based on recent advertisements. We’ve embedded the live stream video below for your ease.
Vivo V29 series: pricing (expected) and specifications
Based on a recent report, we expect both the models of the new Vivo V29 series to start under Rs 40,000 in India. The Vivo V29 could be priced at Rs 32,999 for the 8/128GB variant and Rs 36,999 for the 12/256GB variant. The device will be available in Himalayan Blue, Space Black and Majestic Red colour options.
The Vivo V29 Pro could cost Rs 39,999 for the 8/256GB variant and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB RAM option with the same storage. The Vivo V29 Pro might miss out on the Majestic Red colour option. We expect Vivo to have a range of discounts at launch so it would be wise to tune in to the event for the final pricing. Here are the specifications we expect in both these phones.
