Vivo X80 series India launch will happen later today. This comes just days after the phones debuted globally earlier this month. The lineup includes the vanilla Vivo X80 and an Vivo X80 Pro version and they come with a Vivo V1+ chip, Zeiss T* coating and ZEISS optics. The lineup succeeds the X70 series and brings some notable improvements. The Vivo X80 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, 50MP triple camera setup, a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, and an 80W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the Vivo X80 Pro is the high-end option of the two. It comes with a 2K AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 50MP quad-camera sensors on the back and Android 12 OS out of the box. Here are the launch event details and how you can watch the live stream.

The Vivo X80 price in China is RM 3499 (Rs 61,700 approx), while the Vivo X80 Pro price is RM 4999 (approx Rs 88,100). We can expect the cost in India to be on similar lines, if not slightly less.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor paired with Mali-G710 10-core GPU. It packs 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 12 OS with Funtouch 12 custom skin out of the box.
Vivo X80 houses a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor with OIS support, f/1.75 aperture, LED flash, a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP 50mm telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support. It has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front.
The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS+GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
