Elon Musk-owned X (formerly referred to as Twitter) appears to be facing a downtime. Multiple users are reporting that they are unable to access the social media platform and the same is evident on DownDetecter, which says “User reports indicate problems at X (Twitter).” Both the website and app seem to having issues. While the website loads successfully, the posts (or Tweets) are not loading on the timeline and we are just greeted with ‘Welcome to X’ text and show account suggestions to follow. The same applies to the X app as well.

X-down

X (aka Twitter) was down today around 10:30 and the same was reflected on DownDetector. Multiple users have reported the issue and how they are not able to access the posts on the ‘Feed’. DownDetector shows a spike at around 11:00 am, which indicates that X was indeed facing a downtime during that point in time.

As said, the X (Twitter) website was loading completely but the posts on the Feed weren’t visible. We just see the ‘Welcome to X’ text with handle suggestions to follow. The same has happened with smart apps both on iOS and Android platforms.
