The Xiaomi 13 series was supposedly going to launch in China on December 1st, 2022. That, however, did not happen, and the launch of the series has indefinitely been postponed. The Xiaomi 13 lineup will include the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and both variants will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. While the brand has not yet revealed any details surrounding the global/Indian launch of the Xiaomi 13 series, the Pro variant has recently been spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website and the Indian BIS certification website, thereby hinting at an imminent launch. Spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the Xiaomi 13 Pro (with the model number Xiaomi 2210132G) has recently been certified by the Malaysian SIRIM certification authority and the Indian BIS certification authority. Although none of the certifications guarantee a launch, it is still a sign that Xiaomi might soon unveil (at least) the Xiaomi 13 Pro in various Asian markets, including India.

Xiaomi 13 Pro specifications (expected)

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to feature a 6.73-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,920Hz PWM dimming, and up to 1,900 nits brightness. Under the hood, the device will come powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. Coming to the cameras of the device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to equip a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. At the front, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will likely feature a 32MP selfie shooter.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is tipped to feature a 4,820mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. Lastly, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is tipped to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box.
