The Mi Air Purifier Pro is the company’s first air purifier to sport a display. Thanks to the ambient light sensor, the device can automatically adjust screen brightness depending on external lighting conditions. The screen has a circular LED ring around it, which displays green, yellow and red colours, depending on the air quality.

As for the other specs, the Mi Air Purifier Pro comes with a newly designed air flow path and pressurised system, which gives it a purifying performance improvement of 61 percent and up to 500m/h particles CADR (clean air distribution rate) values. While the previous-gen Mi purifiers could only be used to clean air in a confined area of 37 square meters, the latest in the series covers up to 60 square meters of indoor area.

Apart from the temperature and humidity sensors, the Mi Air Purifier Pro also gets a new laser particle sensor, which can accurately detect particles of up to 0.3μm diameter. Similar to its predecessors, the new Mi air purifier can be controlled via the Mi Home app. You can use the app to create schedules to power on / off, switch to night mode, and more.
