Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 design

  • Xiaomi has shared the Pad 6S Pro 12.4’s images on Weibo. The tablet looks very similar to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. This includes the dual rear camera setup, the squircle housing around these lenses, and the Xiaomi branding on the back.
  • The screen bezels are not evident in these images due to the wallpaper and the exposure used.
  • The accessories including the keyboard (to be available in black and white colours) and Smart Pen also look familiar.

Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 specifications (announced and anticipated)

  • Display: The Xiaomi Pad will have a 12.4-inch display with a 3K resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. 
  • Software: Xiaomi has also revealed the tablet is going to launch with HyperOS out-of-the-box.
  • Charging: The new Xiaomi tablet is going to be powered by a 120W charger compared to a 67W on its precursor.
  • Battery: The underlying battery size is also said to be 10,000mAh, larger than the 8,600mAh cell on the Pad 6 Pro.
  • Connectivity: It even supports the newer Wi-Fi 7 against the Wi-Fi 6E on the former.
  • Audio: The tablet is rumoured to be packed with a quad-speaker setup.
  • Cameras: The dual cameras on the back are expected to be led by a 50MP sensor. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro had a 2MP depth sensing unit accompanying the primary sensor. The front camera on that one was a 20MP shooter.

So, from the looks of it, this is going to be a half-generation upgrade. Anyway, we should know better when the tablet debuts in China on Feb 22nd and probably will launch in Europe at MWC on Feb 25th. Let’s see!
