ZTE has expanded its range of smartphones in India with the launch of the Blade V6 and Axon Mini. The Blade V6 is a budget smartphone, while the Axon Mini is a high-end offering. Both phones run the dated Android Lollipop, and offer 4G LTE along with support for India’s both TDD-LTE band 40 and FDD-LTE band 3 networks.
The ZTE Blade V6 offers an aluminium body, which measures 6.8mm around the waist. The phone sports a 5-inch IPS HD display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, further expandable via a microSD card. The device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear snapper with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. A 2,200mAh battery keeps the phone running.
The ZTE Axon Mini (first impressions) sports a premium design made out of aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, and is 7.9mm around the waist. The phone boasts a bigger 5.2-inch full HD display with slim side bezels. It is equipped with three authentication features including a fingerprint sensor, voice control and an eye scanner. It is backed by a 1.2GHz octa-core processor, aided by 3GB of RAM. The device gets a 13-meg rear snapper with a dual-LED flash, and an 8-meg front shooter. It is fuelled by a 2,800mAh battery. The ZTE Blade V6 and Axon Mini have been priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 23,599 respectively, and will be available starting today.
