Samsung Galaxy F42 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display that refreshes at 90Hz. It continues to feature an Infinity-V notch to house the 8MP selfie snapper and narrow bezels. It will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Users will also get an option to upgrade the storage via a micro-SD card slot. The device will run on Samsung’s OneUI based on Android 11 out of the box.
Moving on to the optics, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP depth unit. Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will also get a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging. The Galaxy F42 5G is will support 12 bands of 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C support for charging and data sync.
In terms of pricing, we estimate the pricing to be a little less than the Samsung Galaxy Wide5, which is the rebranded version of the Galaxy F42 5G. The Galaxy Wide5 is priced at KRW 449,900 (roughly Rs 28,200).
