OnePlus 10 Pro China and global launch timelines tipped

While it was initially believed the phone will debut in all markets by January-February, the timeline shared by tipster Max Jambor suggests the Jan-Feb timeline will be limited to China while the global launch will happen in March-April 2022. The latter falls in OnePlus’ typical refresh cycle. It appears that OnePlus would want to take on Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series on its home soil of China right after they debut. The OnePlus 10 series launching in China will come with ColorOS skin out the box, while the global variants are expected to come with the new OPPO-OnePlus unified OS.
According to the leaked alleged renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro, it has a square-shaped camera module on the back that will house triple cameras and an LED flash. It is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the screen to house the selfie snapper. The phone is said to house a 5000mAh battery that may have 125W fast charging support. It is said to ship with a periscope lens that will support 5x optical zoom. The phone will have 5G network connectivity and is likely to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
On the other hand, the standard OnePlus 10 may have a flat-screen, AMOLED display, an in-screen fingerprint sensor and punch-hole cutout. Both phones are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The standard model may also have a 5000mAh battery with either 65W or 125W fast charging. We should learn more details about the phone going forward.
