Separately, in new teaser images, iQOO has confirmed the Neo 8 series will come with a dedicated V1+ chip that will aid with AI tasks and better photography as well. This is the first time that iQOO’s custom ship is making its way to the Neo series. Additionally, the phone will have 144Hz refresh rate support as well.
iQOO Neo 8 Geekbench
- The Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the iQOO Neo 8 has managed to score 1678 in the single-core round and 4345 points in the multi-core segment.
- The motherboard section of the listing mentions Qualcomm ‘taro’, which could be associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1/Snapdragon 8+ Gen1.
- The chipset will have a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz for the prime core, followed by three performance cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
- The iQOO Neo 8 packs 16GB RAM, but there could be 8GB/12GB RAM models at launch.
- The phone boots Android 13 OS out of the box, which could be skinned with OriginOS 3 custom skin out of the box.
