iQOO is reportedly in the works to launch its mid-range iQOO Neo 8 smartphone soon in China. The device will subsequently launch in India as well, if the brand follows its usual tradition and keeps its Neo-devices Indian launch timelines intact. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro was recently spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform a little while ago, which revealed its key specifications and today, its vanilla counterpart has been spotted on the Chinese 3C certification website, which has confirmed its fast charging speed.

iQOO Neo 8 to feature 120W FlashCharge fast charging

The 3C certification authority, which officially authorises and certifies electronic products in China, has recently listed the iQOO Neo 8 in its database, which suggests an imminent launch.
The iQOO Neo 8 (with the model number Vivo V2301A) will feature up to 120W fast charging (20Vdc, 3.25A Max), as per the 3C listing. The iQOO Neo 7 too came with 120W fast charging, so we’re missing an upgrade here.
The listing also confirms that the device will support 5G capabilities.

iQOO Neo 8 specifications (expected)

Display: The iQOO Neo 8 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Processor: The device will likely be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
RAM and Storage: The iQOO Neo 8 is said to offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS4.1 storage. The device might launch in a couple more memory configurations as well.
OS: The device will boot the latest Android 13-based OriginOS in China and FunTouchOS 13 skin if and when it launches in India.
Battery: Though not confirmed yet, the iQOO Neo 8 is tipped to store a 5,000mAh single-cell battery.
Fast Charging: The 3C listing for the iQOO Neo 8 reveals that it will feature up to 120W FlashCharge fast charging.
Cameras: The device is said to feature a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera.
