Following the Nitro V 15 powered by Intel, Acer has unveiled the Nitro V 16 gaming laptop, running on an AMD Ryzen 8040 series CPU. It also has a 16-inch 165Hz display, up to RTX 4060 GPU, and some AI features for gaming experiences. Here we have the Acer Nitro V 16’s price, availability, and spec details.

- Processor: It ships with an AMD Ryzen 8040 series processor, going all the way up to Zen 4-based AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU. This has a built-in Ryzen AI engine for local processing of background blur in Microsoft Windows Studio Effects, among other use cases.
- Graphics: The CPU is roomed with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 mobile GPU. There is DLSS 3.5 for real-time AI-based upscaling in games.
- Memory: It will be available in up to 32GB DDR55600 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
- Heat dissipation: The laptop comes with a dual fan cooling system for venting out heat.
- Software: Windows 11 with NitroSense app for checking CPU and GPU temperature, control fan speeds and battery settings. Acer also stows in a month-free Xbox Game Pass subscription.
- Display: There is a 16-inch WQXGA or WUXGA panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate, 3 ms response time, and 16:10 aspect ratio.
- Sound: You get DTS X: Ultra-backed speakers. There is an AI-based Acer PurifiedView enhancement of webcam output and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 for mic output.
- Connectivity: The IO options include Wi-Fi 6E, a full-function USB 4 Type-C, 2x USB 3 ports, and an HDMI socket.

Acer Nitro V 16 will be available in North America at a starting price of $999.99 (around Rs 83,375) from March 2024. Later in April 2024, the laptop will hit stores in European, Middle Eastern and African markets at EUR 1,199 (about Rs 1,07,550).
