Recharge your Airtel number right now! Prices of Airtel prepaid plans set to increase soon

Giving a huge blow to its customers, the telecom giant Airtel has announced an increase in its tariffs by 20 to 25 percent across a range of prepaid plans. This step has been taken largely to maintain a financially healthy business model and will also fulfill its investment needs for the 5G rollout in the country, as stated by the company. The new Airtel recharge plans will come into effect from November 26th, which means you can still recharge your Airtel number with your favourite plan at old prices.

How to recharge Airtel number with old plan price

Since the revised Airtel recharge plans won’t come into effect until this Friday, you can stack up recharges at old prices from the telco’s website or online recharge payment apps such as Paytm and G Pay. The recharge plans will be added to your account and come into force after your existing plan expires. Here’s a quick look at how much you are going to pay if you recharge your Airtel number now:

• Rs 79 for the entry-level Airtel recharge plan that offers Rs 64 Talktime and 200MB data for a validity of 28 days
• Rs 149 for Airtel recharge plan with unlimited voice calls, 2GB data, 100 SMSes/ day and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 219 for Airtel recharge plan with unlimited voice calls, 1GB data/ day, 100 SMSes/ day and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 249 for Airtel recharge plan with unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB data/ day, 100 SMSes/ day and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 298 for Airtel recharge plan with unlimited voice calls, 2GB data per day, 100 SMSes/ day and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 399 for Airtel recharge plan with unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMSes/ day and a validity of 56 days

After 26th November, you will be paying this much for the same aforementioned plans

• Rs 99: This plan will replace the Rs 79 Airtel recharge plan. It’ll offer a Talktime of 99 minutes and 200MB data, which will be valid for 28 days
• Rs 179 for unlimited voice calls, 100 SMSes per day, and 2GB data for 28 days
• Rs 265 for 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMSes per day, and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 299 for 1.5GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSes a day for 28 days
• Rs 359 for 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMSes per day, and a validity of 28 days
• Rs 479 for 1.5GB data/ day, unlimited voice calls, a quota of free 100 SMSes a day, and a validity of 56 days
• Rs 549 for 2GB data/ day, unlimited voice calls, a quota of free 100 SMSes a day, and a validity of 56 days
• Rs 455 for 6GB data along with free voice calls and 100 SMSes a day valid up to 84 days
