“OPPO is all set to launch the Find X in Paris on June 19th”
OPPO has confirmed that the company is reviving its Find series of flagship devices with the launch of upcoming Find X smartphone. The brand has already shared media invites for an event to be held in Paris on June 19th. Now, ahead of the official launch, the Find X has been spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA. However, it seems that the listing has since been taken down.
While the spotted TENAA listing doesn’t feature the renders of the smartphone, the document does reveal the model numbers and key specs of the handset. It appears that OPPO might launch the Find X in two variants as the TENAA listing reveals model numbers, i.e. PAFM00 and PAFT00. According to the TENAA listing, the smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. According to the previous reports, the smartphone is expected to come with an edge-to-edge display with a cutout on top.
Coming to other specs, the OPPO Find X is expected to come equipped with the high-end Snapdragon 845 processor to handle the performance. The chipset is further expected to be accompanied by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The native storage has been suggested to be expandable via a microSD card. Further, the listing suggests that the smartphone will boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will house a 3,645mAh battery to power through the day. The handset will also feature fast charging support through the USB Type-C port. As for the optics, a leaked render has revealed that the Find X will come sporting a triple camera and is likely to feature a 5x lossless zoom.
As of now, nothing else is known about the phone apart from these bits, which also should be taken with a pinch of salt. We will bring you more updates on June 19th, when the smartphone goes official, so stay tuned.
