New BSNL Rs 797 prepaid recharge plan launched in India with 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day for 60 days.
The BSNL Rs 797 recharge plan offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited calls, and 100 SMSes per day for 60 days. Once the 2GB data limit is reached, the internet speed reduces to 80Kbps. The benefits expire after 60 days, but the number remains active for 395 days. BSNL is offering 30 days of extra validity if users recharge their number before June 12, 2022.
Recently, BSNL announced that it would be launching the 4G with 5G NSA network by August 15. "While we were doing our proof of concept (PoC), we were also working on 5G. As far as the 5G NSA is concerned, we will launch the BSNL network by August 2022. So, they can really start service, it will be 4G plus 5G," said Rajkumar Upadhyay, Executive Director and Chairman, C-DoT.
BSNL also offer a few other plans near Rs 797. One recharge plan is of Rs 699, which offers a validity of 180 days, 0.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS/ day. Another BSNL plan, priced at Rs 999, offers unlimited voice calls and validity of 240 days. However, the plan doesn't offer any data or SMS benefits.
The state-run telecom operator also offers two plans worth Rs 1,499 and Rs 1,999 with a validity of 365 days or 1 year. With the Rs 1,499 plan, users get 24GB of data, 250 calling minutes per day, 100 SMS per day, free caller tune for the validity period. Meanwhile, Rs 1,999 plan offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited calling 100 SMS per day, free caller tune for the validity period, and a 1-year subscription to Sony Liv.
