Garmin has launched its Garmin Forerunner 955 and Garmin Forerunner 255 series smartwatches in India.
The Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar variant is priced at Rs 63,990 and is available in Black and White colour options. The standard Garmin Forerunner 955 is priced at Rs 53,490, and it also comes in the same colour options.
Coming to the Garmin Forerunner 255 series, the Garmin Forerunner 255 Basic has been priced at Rs 37,490 and is available in Slate Grey and Tidal Blue colour options. The Garmin Forerunner 255S Basic, on the other hand, is available in a single Powder Grey colour option, but is priced the same (Rs 37,490). The brand has also launched the Garmin Forerunner 255 Music, which is available in a Black colour option Rs 42,990. Lastly, the Garmin Forerunner 255S Music is priced at Rs 42,990 and is available in Black colour.
All smartwatches are already up for sale starting today (June 30th) via Garmin Brand Store, Helios Watch Store, Just in Time store, Croma, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CliQ, and Synergizer.
The Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar comes with solar charging, as the name suggests. The watch has a full touchscreen display, which can be set to always-on. The Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar is claimed to offer up to 49 hours of battery life in GPS mode and 20 days in standard smartwatch mode.
The watch comes with a new Race widget, which shows essential information like weather, performance, prediction, and more. Plus, the Garmin Forerunner 955 has various health-tracking features, like body battery, pulse oximeter, menstrual cycle, pregnancy tracking, incoming notification alerts and more.
The watch provides you with a morning report when paired with a smartphone. Users can receive the day's weather and daily workout suggestion, as well as information about their last night's sleep. There is support for multi-band GPS. Additionally, the Garmin Forerunner 955 has support for real-time stamina insights and a full triathlon mode as well.
Coming to the Garmin Forerunner 255, the brand has made the watches available in 41mm and 46mm dial sizes. Both sizes are available across the entire portfolio of the Garmin Forerunner 255 watches. According to Garmin, the Garmin Forerunner 255 series smartwatches will last up to 14 days on a single charge in smartwatch mode and 30 hours in GPS mode. The watches come with multi-band GPS support and HDV tracking, including real-time stamina, running power metrics, and more.
The Garmin Forerunner 255S and the Garmin Forerunner 255S Music, on the other hand, are available just in a 41mm dial size. Both watches can store up to 500 songs and even have support for playlists from Spotify and Amazon Music.
