Aorus 15 and Aorus 17 get the new Intel Core Ultra 7 processor
Intel Core Ultra 7 is part of the newly branded Intel Core Ultra series of processors. In other words, they are Intel’s 14th gen processors. These chips are based on a 7nm manufacturing process called Intel 4 and are claimed more efficient than the Intel 7-based 13th-generation chips.
Codenamed Meteor Lake, these chips use a hybrid tile-based chiplet design with small dedicated modules for computing, graphics, SoC, and I/O. There is even a dedicated Intel AI Boost Engine here.
In some sense, they are like smartphone chipsets and speaking of which, the Intel Core Ultra processors come with performance and efficiency cores.
