Gionee F9 Plus smartphone has been launched in India. The handset packs a 6.26-inch HD+ Full View display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper and is powered by a 1.65GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The Gionee F9 Plus runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and features dual rear cameras consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary snapper. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 4,050mAh battery. Apart from the smartphone, Gionee also announced a new GBuddy sub-brand, under which it has unveiled wireless headphones, wireless neckband headset, earphones, and power banks.
Gionee F9 Plus price in India
Gionee F9 Plus is priced at Rs 7,999 and is available in Blue colour. The smartphone and GBuddy accessories will be available via Gionee’s distribution network of 42,000 retail outlets and on leading e-commerce platforms.

The Gionee F9 Plus sports a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 1,520 X 720 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by a 1.65GHz octa-core processor, however, the chipset’s name hasn’t been revealed. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
In terms of optics, the Gionee F9 Plus rocks dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with LED flash, a 2MP secondary lens. There is a 13MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. A 4,050mAh battery fuels the phone.
