Huawei yesterday made the P Smart Z smartphone official in the Italian and Spanish markets. Now, a trusted industry source has informed 91mobiles that the company is planning to launch the P Smart Z smartphone in the Indian market soon. That is the only tidbit of information we have at the moment, but we can expect more details to emerge over the next few weeks. To recall, the Huawei P Smart Z is the company’s first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera and is powered by the mid-range Kirin 710 processor.
Specifications of the new Huawei P Smart Z include a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) display with 391ppi pixel density. Thanks to the pop-up selfie camera design, the smartphone has an all-screen fascia. The smartphone is powered by the company’s HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users will be able to expand the storage up to 512GB using a microSD card. It comes with EMUI 9.0 custom skin based on Android 9 Pie operating system.
On the camera front, Huawei P Smart Z has a 16MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. In the front is a camera with 16MP resolution. Connectivity features of the handset include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Battery capacity of the handset is 4,000mAh. The smartphone comes in Black, Blue, and Green colour options and Google Pixel-like two-tone design.
The smartphone is listed at EUR 279 (about Rs 21,800) on the Amazon Italy website. We can expect it to cost around the same in the Indian market.
